The Garanhuns Cattle Clinic, a satellite campus of Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (CBG-UFRPE), has collaborated with the PPGSA activities since the program was accredited by CAPES in 2010 (then known as PPGSRR). For the past 45 years, the CBG-UFRPE has provided clinical, surgical, laboratory, and anatomical-pathological services for ruminants, and has conducted research in the Southern Agreste region of Pernambuco for 25 years. It therefore offers infrastructure to support extension, research, and teaching activities.

Its technical staff is composed of veterinarians, all of whom hold doctoral degrees and are engaged in teaching and research within the PPGSA. They also collaborate with other faculty members and graduate students, forming a partnership of great importance to the Program.
